A one-acre garden, called the Easton Urban Farm, supplies fresh produce, as well as flowers, each summer to underserved neighborhoods. Three times a week, they rely on volunteers to prepare rows, plant, weed, compost, water, pick and bundle and transport veggies to food pantries and senior centers in Easton. Wildlands Conservancy is looking for assistance in repainting and removing carpet from a cabin located at the Dorothy Rider Pool Sanctuary in Emmaus. This will be a multi-day opportunity, but they aren’t asking for any group to commit to all days. They have an urgent timeline to complete this project ASAP, so project dates are flexible.
