Investigators are seeking tips in an attempted burglary Jan. 24 that was thwarted by residents.

Police outlined the incident in a news release as follows:

At about 6 p.m. three suspects forced entry to the rear of a residence in the area of Fairfield Drive and Barrington Lane. The suspects forced their way back out when confronted by the occupants of the residence.

No one was injured in the incident and nothing appears to be missing from the home, according to Salisbury police.

Salisbury police and personnel from area police departments in adjoining municipalities canvassed the area.
