The holiday spirit was alive for Spirit Day at Lincoln Elementary School, 233 Seem St., Emmaus, recently. Donning festive holiday colors, the students, lead by music teacher Carrie Campbell, sang along during the assembly’s Sing-Along in the multipurpose room.
Beginning with “Jingle Bells” and ending with “Auld Lang Syne,” they also paid tribute to Hanukkah with “The Dreidel Song.”
The highlight of the annual celebration for the children was watching their teachers act out “The Twelve Days of Christmas.” Participating faculty included Jonathan Chase, Tina Sopko, Lexi Williams, Kirsty Comer, Marissa Haas, Jen Elston, Carrie Nawarynski, Susie Racek, Cassidy Larkin, Kate Patriarco, Brooke Davis, Melanie Carwell, Bryan Svencer, Doug Barndt and Tim Murphy.
“This is my favorite time of year,” Principal Lynn Brinckman said. “Listening to 400 student voices – it’s just amazing!”
