Larry C. Hower, 83, of New Ringgold, formerly of New Tripoli, died on Jan. 26, 2023, in Country Meadows, Bethlehem.

He was the husband of the late Barbara A. (Roemig) Hower.

Born June 25, 1939, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Charles J.J. and Sarah Christiana (Christman) Hower.

A past president of Electrical Contractors of the Lehigh Valley, he was the founder of Hower Electric from 1964-95.

He was a member of Lehigh Lodge 326, F.&A.M., Macungie, Lehigh Consistory, Valley of Allentown, and Rajah Shrine, Reading.

His survivors include children Wayne C. Hower and his wife, Roberta, of Allentown, David W. Hower of Lehighton, Laurie A. Moyer and her husband, Robert, of Orefield; sister Suzanne Pegues and her husband, Wes, of Mississippi; and seven grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a brother, Wayne A. Hower.
