Key Club selling Wawa hoagie cards

The senior breakfast was held 7:45 a.m. Feb. 1. Members of the Class of 2023 were able to watch the senior video made by advisory members and ate with their friends. In addition to hanging out, seniors received a gift bag and a T-shirt when they arrived.

On Feb. 2, the Salisbury debate team will hold its annual home debate during the school day. This will mark the third tournament of the Lehigh Valley Interscholastic Debate Association 2023-2023 season. Around 50 student volunteers will help at the tournament and debate coach Michael Barna hopes for yet another successful debate. Barna has already achieved 800 career wins and is looking to add even more to that.

This coming weekend, 1 p.m. Feb. 5, the Salisbury High School baseball team is holding a cash bingo and basket raffle fundraiser at Salisbury Middle School. This fundraiser is sponsored by the SHS booster club. The doors will open 11:30 a.m. for all those participating. For more information about the event, or to purchase tickets, contact any SHS baseball family for this information.

SHS Key Club is beginning its next fundraiser of the year. Key Club members are beginning to sell Wawa hoagie cards. If interested in purchasing a card, contact adviser Barry Frick at bfrick@salisburysd.org or any current member of the Key Club.

Freshmen, sophomores and juniors will soon begin selecting courses for the 2023-2024 school year.

Each grade met with school counselors who explained what classes each student is able to take for the next school year. Classes must be picked by mid-February and then schedules will begin to be formed for all students. More information will be provided as the deadline approaches.
