Joseph R. O’Connor, 70, of New Tripoli, died Jan. 30, 2023, at home.

He and his wife, Carol A. (Bower) O’Connor, were married 24 years last June.

Born in Phoenixville, he was a son of the late Thomas and Doris (Moore) O’Connor.

He was a warehouse worker for Dana Corporation, Fogelsville, for 15 years before retiring in 1991.

He was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Seiberlingsville.

He honorably served his country in the U.S Army during Vietnam, and was a member of the American Legion Post 603, Spring City.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter Susan Mitstifer (Clayton) of Pottstown; and a brother, Thomas O’Connor of Perkiomenville.

He was predeceased by a brother Dennis O’Connor.

His services will be private.
