Dale D. Diehl, 86, formerly of Mauch Chunk Road, Allentown, died Jan. 29, 2023, in Phoebe Home, Allentown.

Born July 2, 1936, in South Whitehall Township, he was the son of the late Irwin F. and Elsie M. (Masonheimer) Diehl.

He was employed at Day-Timer, formerly of East Texas, for 12 years before retiring in 1998.

Before that, he worked for the former General Electric and Trojan Powder Co.

He was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, (Mickleys), Whitehall.

His survivors include numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by sisters, Fern C. Diehl, Doris J. Moyer, Lorraine R. Berta, Shirley F. Diehl, Jean L. Boyer, Mae E Fehnel and Marjorie Diehl.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Feb. 2 at St. John’s Union Cemetery (Mickleys), Whitehall. The Rev. Virginia G. Schlegel will officiate.

There will be no calling hours.
