Pennsylvania State Police, Troop M, will host the annual Camp Cadet program June 11 through 16 at Camp Fowler, 5851 Horseshoe Road, Orefield.

Camp Cadet is an overnight summer camp for boys and girls ages 12 to 15.

Online registration for the camp is available through Feb. 28 at troopmcampcadet.org.

The goal of Camp Cadet is to introduce campers to the criminal justice system and establish a positive relationship between law enforcement and youth, while living in an atmosphere similar to an actual state police academy.

Presentations will include representatives from various municipal, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.

The camp stresses teamwork, honesty and integrity and develops discipline and self-esteem. Cadets also gain an understanding of a career as a police officer.

Space in the program is limited.
