Stephen J. “Boyse” Nemeth Jr., 61, of Cementon, died Jan. 24, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Jodi (Albertson) Nemeth for 39 years.
Raised in Cementon, he was the son of the late Stephen and Theresa (Henits) Nemeth.
He worked in the billboard industry for FKM and retired from Adams Outdoor Advertising in 2011.
He was a member of Queenship of Mary Church, Northampton.
He was the president and caretaker of the Cementon Park for many years.
He was a member of the Whitehall Township Recreation Commission and continued to be a vital part of the long-standing Cement Belt Fair.
Many knew him as Coach Steve after numerous years of coaching at Cementon, Triboro, OLH, Whitehall and Hokendauqua.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Nicole and her fiance Robert Taniser of Whitehall and Kaitlyn and her husband Chris Dawson of Cementon; a brother, Anthony of Cementon; two grandchildren, Ty and Mya Dawson; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two sisters, Marybeth and Stephanie.
