A traffic stop was conducted in the 2300 block of Main Street.

Officers responded to a report of harassment in the 400 block of East 12th Street.

Two suspicious males in the 100 block of East Fourth Street were reported.

Police assisted a female in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue.

Officers checked on the welfare of a male in the 1900 block of Canal Street.

A domestic dispute between a male and a female occurred at West 17th and Franklin streets.

Juvenile problems were investigated in the 2000 block of Line Alley, the 1600 block of Lincoln Avenue and the 1600 block of Newport Avenue.

Suspicious activity in the 300 block of Kingsbarn Lane, the 400 block of East 20th Street and the 2400 block of Main Street had police at the scenes.

In the 1600 block of Newport Avenue and the 1600 block of Washington Avenue, police responded to neighbor complaints.

A disturbance in the 2500 block of Main Street was filed with the department.

JAN. 8

Traffic stops were conducted in the 1200 and 2100 blocks of Main Street, at East 21st and Mill streets, in the unit block of West 21st Street, the 2100 block of Line Alley and at Czapp Street and Newport Avenue.

A domestic dispute occurred in the 100 block of West 27th Street.

Officers checked on the welfare of two males in the 1700 block of Lincoln Avenue.

In the 700 block of Washington Avenue, a neighbor complaint was addressed.

A suspicious female in the 2400 block of Dewey Avenue was reported.

JAN. 9

In the 100 block of West 27th Street, a report of a civil issue was investigated.

Traffic stops were conducted at Dewey Avenue and East 21st Street and in the unit block of West 21st Street.

An unwanted male in the 2100 block of Washington Avenue was reported.

Police checked on the welfare of a male at Canal and West 14th streets.

A disturbance in the 1700 block of Main Street had police at the scene.

In the 1000 block of Main Street, a report of a suspicious vehicle was addressed.

JAN. 10

Officers checked on the welfare of a male in the 100 block of West 27th Street.

A hit and run took place in the 2000 block of Main Street. A legally parked vehicle was struck by a dark-colored mini van, which left the scene. The driver-side mirror, door and front quarter panel were damaged.

A harassment report was investigated in the 700 block of Washington Avenue.

An unattended death in the 1300 block of Main Street was investigated.

JAN. 11

A suspicious vehicle in the 500 block of East 21st Street was reported.

A suspected DUI case was investigated in the 1200 block of Main Street.

In the 800 block of East Eighth Street, a juvenile issue was handled.

Officers served a warrant in the 1000 block of Main Street. A male with outstanding warrants out of Northampton County was taken into custody and transported to the borough station. He was later released to county sheriffs.

At Washington Avenue and Church Street, a traffic stop was conducted.

JAN. 12

Police responded to a civil matter in the 100 block of West 27th Street.

Officers assisted a male in the 1600 block of Canal Street and a female in the 200 block of East 22nd Street.

Domestic disputes took place in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue, the 500 block of East Second Street and the 2300 block of Main Street.

A report of a male and a female trespassing in the unit block of West 21st Street had police at the scene.

Officers checked on the welfare of a male at Czapp Avenue and Vienna Street.
