The youth group of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 4331 Main St., Egypt, is holding a hoagie fundraiser through Feb. 5.

Delivery is scheduled for Feb. 12 - Super Bowl Sunday.

Egypt Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7293, 5209 Springmill Road, will host a valentine dance Feb. 11.

The event begins with an Italian dinner buffet 6 p.m. followed by dancing 7 p.m.

A kissing booth, photo opportunity, a rose for the ladies and a glass of Champagne are all part of the fun.

Spring 2023 sign-ups are open for Egypt Memorial Park’s baseball and softball programs for ages 5-18 and for the hockey program for kids in kindergarten through seventh grade.

Baseball registration closes April 1, and registration for softball closes May 1. Both seasons begin March 1 and end Oct. 31.

Registration for the hockey clinic closes March 31. Hockey practice will be held Sundays and occasional Fridays April 2-May 21.
