Coplay: A few holidays to celebrate Feb. 2

There are a number of holidays celebrated Feb. 2.

St. Brigid’s Day is celebrated by the Catholic church, Imbolc is a sabbat of earth-based religions and pagans celebrate Goddess Brigid’s Day. More popular is Groundhog Day.

By the time you read this in the newspaper, Punxsutawney Phil probably made his prediction. If he calls for only two more weeks of winter, history teaches, he may be incorrect.
