In a story that appeared in last week’s edition, Catasauqua Borough Council Vice President Howard Cunningham reported there was a study to look into the option of combining the Catasauqua and North Catasauqua police departments.

According to North Catasauqua Police Chief Chris Wolfer, there is no such study for the police departments. The study is reportedly looking into combining the boroughs’ fire departments.
