Charles D. Bauer Jr., 75, of Alburtis, died Jan. 28, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Rosemary (Reifinger) Bauer for 55 years. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Charles D. and Mary (Drey) Bauer.

He worked most recently for Lehigh Law and Premier Atlantic Security Group.

He took great joy in spending time with his family, working in his garden and doing security at various events and fairs, particularly the Oley Valley Fair and Ag Hall.

He is survived by his wife; children, Shelley Grim (Gary), of Fleetwood, Kaycee Dorney (Carlos Cordon), of Macungie, Mandi Devarics (Kevin), of Blandon and Candace Cameron, of Macungie; grandchildren, Jaide, Brooke, Jeremiah, Sage and Quinten; great-grandchildren, Skye and Parker; brothers, Linwood and Larry Boyer; sister, Veronica Schuler. He was predeceased by an infant daughter, Stacey Dee and siblings, Douglas Boyer, Joan Hildenbrand, Lillian Hoffman and Sandra Grim.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Feb. 3 at Church of the Good Shepherd UCC, 135 Quarry Rd., Alburtis. Calling will begin 10 a.m. at the church. Arrangements were made by the Schmoyer Funeral Home, Breinigsville.
