The Friends of Catasauqua Parks group is looking for new members to join and help preserve the local parks and pool.

This pool situation will be addressed at the Feb. 6 borough council committee meetings. The meetings will begin 6 p.m. at the municipal complex, 90 Bridge St. All are welcome.

Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 604 Fourth St., is once again holding its free soup initiative 4:30-6 p.m. Wednesdays. This is open to the church family, as well as the entire Catasauqua community.

Holy Trinity collects Redner’s Warehouse Market receipts. Proceeds support camperships for Holy Trinity youth who want to attend a week of camp at Bear Creek.

Place receipts in the basket in the narthex.
