Ann F. Schlaffer, of Whitehall, died Jan. 24, 2023, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Frank J. Schlaffer.
Born in Egypt, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Anna (Dorociak) Fedio.
She was a graduate of Whitehall High School.
She worked at the former Western Electric and AT&T, retiring in 1993.
She is survived by a daughter, Patrice and her husband Michael Kelly of Massachusetts; a son, Gary “Bush” and his wife Pam of Whitehall; five grandchildren, Kristin Sommer of Whitehall, Amy and her husband Jeff McGettigan of New Jersey, Eric of Philadelphia, Kaitlin and her husband Brendan Smith of Massachusetts and Michael Patrick Kelly of Massachusetts; four great-grandchildren, Avett, Beckett, Brooks and Ryan Rae; and two brothers, Walter Fedio of Orefield and Paul Fedio and his wife Allison of Virginia.
She was predeceased by a son, Frank J. III and his wife Kathleen M.; three sisters, Mary Kumernitsky, Catherine Cocco and Helen Winarchick; and a brother, John Fedio.
