Library to celebrate International LEGO Day
Parkland Community Library, 4422 Walbert Ave., South Whitehall, will have a game day for adults 1-3:30 p.m. Jan. 27 in the Carol and Perry Zirkel Meeting Room.

The library will celebrate International LEGO Day for kids on Jan. 28 in the Karen Tamerler Children’s Meeting Room.
Drop by to choose a LEGO Build Challenge Card and create with the library’s LEGOS or build just for fun.

Baby Story Time for kids ages birth to 15 months with an adult caregiver will take place 10:30-11 a.m. Jan. 30 and Feb. 6.
Library staff will share simple books, lap bounces, rhymes and songs, all designed to help babies build important social, motor, and early literacy skills.

Game night for teens will be 5-6 p.m. Jan. 30 in the Carol and Perry Zirkel Meeting Room.

Family Story Time for kids ages 1-5 will take place 10-10:30 a.m. Jan. 31 and Feb. 1, 7 and 8.
There will be read-aloud stories, songs and rhymes.

Adults are invited to join Anna Baum, Physics Ph.D. student at Lehigh University, as she guides attendees through the James Webb Space Telescope journey unfolding the secrets of the universe 6-7 p.m. Jan. 31 in the Carol and Perry Zirkel Meeting Room.

A computer basics class for adults will be offered 11 a.m. to noon Feb. 1 in the Tech Center at the library.

Preschool Story Time for kids ages 3-5 will take place 1:30-2:15 p.m. Feb. 1 and 8 in the Carol and Perry Zirkel Meeting Room.

Senior Coffee Club will be offered 10-11 a.m. Feb. 2 in the Carol and Perry Zirkel Meeting Room.

Tinkerlab for kids in grades two to five will be offered 6:30-7:30 p.m. Feb. 2 in the Carol and Perry Zirkel Meeting Room.
Learn about the science behind chocolate and conduct candy-based experiments.
