Seven members of the Moravian University football team have earned spots on the 2022 Centennial Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll that includes 180 football players among the 862 student-athletes honored by the conference.
To be named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be a sophomore or higher in class standing and have a cumulative GPA of 3.40 or higher.
The Greyhounds had one senior named to the Academic Honor roll in defensive lineman Javi Espinal-Katz (Doylestown). Moravian had three juniors – defensive back Ben Carlin (Notre Dame HS), linebacker Nick Levinski (Quakertown HS), and wide receiver Joseph Walker (South Plainfield HS) and three sophomores – quarterback Jared Jenkins (Freedom HS), defensive lineman Mason Zimmerman (Easton HS) and defensive lineman Prince Sokpo (Milton Hershey HS) also named to the Academic Honor Roll.
Jenkins was 41-for-73 for 592 yards with five touchdowns and three interceptions to go with 36 rushing yards and a touchdown on 42 attempts through three games before a season-ending injury.
