There will be an early dismissal Feb. 1. Sheckler Elementary School students will be dismissed 1:30 p.m.

Sheckler Elementary’s lost-and-found section is overflowing. Photos of the items have been posted to the school’s Facebook page, and parents/guardians are encouraged to take a look to see if any items belong to their child.
The lost and found can be found outside of the school’s front office.

Catasauqua Youth Athletic Association is looking for new baseball and softball players for grades K-4, or ages 5-15.
Baseball and softball fees include $130 for the first child, $70 for the second child and $50 for the third child and up. T-ball and Preps softball fees are $50 per child.
Deposit checks include $50 for fieldwork, $50 for the snack stand duties and $50 for the uniform. Deposit checks are only cashed if fieldwork and snack stand duties are not performed or if the uniform is not returned.

Spring soccer sign-ups are now available by visiting cattysoccer.org/register. The season is set to begin in April.
If players are returning from the fall program, a free spring payment method will be made available during checkout.
Volunteers are needed to assist with the program. Coaches, assistant coaches and a new board member are needed at this time.
