LaRue Irene (Guldner) Eckroth, 85, of Emmaus, formerly of Greenawalds, died Jan. 20, 2023, in her home. She was the wife of the late Edwin J. Eckroth. Born in Egypt, Whitehall Township, she was the daughter of the late Frank P. and Irene I. (Baer) Guldner.
She was employed as a clerical worker at the former Earl Lichtenwalner Insurance Agency in Allentown before retiring. Before that, she was a food service worker at The Phoebe Home, Allentown, a candy-maker at Josh Early Candies in Allentown and a teller at the former Egypt National Bank.
She was a member of U.C.C., Greenawalds.
She is survived by a son, The Rev. Michael L., of Allentown; siblings, Henry Guldner, of Philadelphia, Mae Moyer, of Whitehall, Darlene Kreitz, of Orefield, Barbara Ringer, of Ironton. She was predeceased by an infant daughter, Crystal Lynn and brothers, Richard and Ernest Guldner.

Services are private at the convenience of the family. The Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., Schnecksville is in charge of arrangements.
