Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

JAN. 3

Vehicle stops were conducted in the 500 block of Howertown Road, with a verbal warning issued; at Second and Peach streets, with a written warning issued; and in the 200 block of Bridge Street, with a verbal warning issued.

Officers assisted Allentown police in the 400 block of Limestone Street.

An investigation is continuing for a threat that occurred in the 200 block of Church Street.

JAN. 4

A harassment case, which occurred at Catasauqua Middle School, 850 Pine St., is under investigation.

Reportable motor vehicle accidents occurred at Howertown Road and Walnut Street and in the unit block of South 10th Street, involving a garbage truck and a parked car.

The theft of cash occurred at Catasauqua Towers, 534 Third St., and at Innovative Arts Academy Charter School, 330 Howertown Road, involving juveniles.

A report of a dog bite in the unit block of Stonewood Place was investigated.

In the unit block of Second Street, police responded to a mental health call.

JAN. 5

Officers assisted a citizen in the 300 block of Mulberry Street.

In the 500 block of Howertown Road, a domestic disturbance, with no arrests, was investigated.

A dog was found in the 400 block of Race Street. The dog was returned to its owner.

JAN. 6

A 22-year-old male, of Bethlehem, was charged with DUI in the 900 block of Race Street.

An identity theft report was addressed in the 200 block of Church Street.

In the 100 block of Front Street, traffic enforcement was conducted. The registration was seized.

A possession of marijuana report at Catasauqua High School, 2500 W. Bullshead Road, Northampton, is pending further investigation.

Criminal mischief - damage to a home - in the 200 block of Railroad Street had police at the scene.

In the 400 block of Bridge Street, officers conducted a welfare check.

JAN. 7

Residents were warned when police investigated a noise complaint in the 700 block of Front Street.

An overdose occurred in the 300 block of Mulberry Street.

A hit and run took place in the 200 block of Second Street.

Vehicles parked in a private lot at 301 Mulberry St. were reported.

In the 500 block of Howertown Road, a disturbance took place.

JAN. 8

In the 900 block of Race Street, a verbal warning was issued during a vehicle stop.

Officers conducted a welfare check at Catasauqua Youth Athletic Association, 890 Walnut St.

JAN. 9

Juvenile issues involving fighting at Innovative Arts Academy Charter School, 330 Howertown Road, were investigated.

A domestic dispute in the 100 block of Front Street had police at the scene.

Officers assisted Bethlehem Township police in the 500 block of Kurtz Street.

Police responded to a noise complaint involving juveniles in the 100 block of South Front Street.

JAN. 10

A 12-year-old female was charged with harassment after a report at Catasauqua Park and Playground, 501 American St.

A verbal warning was issued in the unit block of West Race Street for a traffic violation.

At Fifth and Pine streets, officers conducted a welfare check.

Suspicious activity was investigated in the 100 block of South Front Street.

JAN. 11

Traffic stops were conducted in the 300 block of Pine Street, with the driver cited, and at Howertown Road and Pine Street, with the driver cited.

At Howertown Road and Pine Street, a reckless driver complaint was addressed.

An animal complaint in the 500 block of East Wood Street was investigated.

Two 13-year-old females were cited for harassment and disorderly conduct at Innovative Arts Academy Charter School, 330 Howertown Road.

Police conducted welfare checks in the 100 block of Pine Street and the 400 block of Front Street.

Officers assisted a citizen at Catasauqua Towers, 534 Third St., and Coplay police at South Second and Hokendauqua streets.

A report of harassment by communication that occurred in the 900 block of Bridge Street is under investigation, the department said.

JAN. 12

A mental health case at Catasauqua Towers, 534 Third St., was handled.

An Amazon package was reported stolen in the 100 block of Front Street.

A traffic stop was conducted at North 14th and Race streets.

Officers responded to two parking complaints at Church Street and Howertown Road, with a ticket issued for one case.

Police investigated a protection-from-abuse violation in the unit block of Pineapple Street.

Charges are pending against a 16-year-old female for possession of marijuana at Catasauqua High School, 2500 W. Bullshead Road, Northampton.

In the 600 block of Pine Street, a credit card theft/fraud report was investigated.

Police assisted North Catasauqua officers at Howertown Road and Liberty Street, North Catasauqua, with a DUI arrest.

JAN. 13

Officers assisted Pennsylvania State Police in the 400 block of Prospect Street.

A disturbance involving a mental health case in the 500 block of Race Street had police at the scene.

A security check was conducted in the 300 block of Howertown Road.

JAN. 14

Police responded to two noise complaints at the same residence in the 700 block of Front Street, one time with the resident warned and the other resulting in a citation for Nataya Brickhouse, 22, of Catasauqua.

A parking ticket was issued in the 200 block of Bridge Street.

The theft of cooking oil at 501 Second St. was reported.

JAN. 15

A verbal disturbance occurred in the 100 block of Walnut Street.

In the unit block of West Race Street, a hit and run to a trailer occurred.
