Donald Evanchuk, 83, of Bethlehem, died Jan. 17, 2023, in his home. Born in Allentown, he was a son of Harry and Hilda May (Brinker) Evanchuck. He was the husband of Mary Jane (Hall) Evanchuck for 58 years.

He retired from the United States Marine Corps after serving 22 years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Scott H. (Tina Marie) of Eagle River, Alaska; two daughters, Terri Evanchuck of Bethlehem and Tammy Dekrell (Brian) of Schnecksville; and six grandchildren, Nicholas S. Evanchuck, Michael H. Evanchuck, Alyssa M. Evanchuck , Maya P. Hamlin, Brittany L. Dekrell and Kayla M. Dekrell.

He was predeceased by a sister, Betty Kemmerer.
