Tammy Lee Neubauer, 53, died Jan. 4, 2023, at her home in Emmaus. Born in Pacoima, Calif., she was the daughter of Nancy (Waitt) Landis and the late John Brought.

She loved animals and enjoyed her work as a veterinary technician for Banfield Pet Hospital.

She was an avid hiker and was happiest when she was outdoors.

She was proud of 16 years of sobriety. She was passionate about her work and involvement with recovery groups around the Lehigh Valley.

She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her mother; son, Nicholas; nephews, Andrew and Tyler Fortson; niece, Stephanie Wald; brother-in-law, Ken Fortson and her beloved dog, Princess Lovely Hope. She was predeceased by a sister, Robin Fortson.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. of Catasauqua is entrusted with arrangements.
