Breakfast is planned for 8:30 a.m.-noon Jan. 22 in the social hall of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 2181 Washington Ave.

The menu includes scrambled eggs or omelet, French toast, pancakes, choice of meats, hash browns and beverages.

Tickets will be sold at the door.

Reminder: Northampton Area Food Bank, 1601 Canal St., has announced its January distribution dates will be 5-6:45 p.m. Jan. 19 and 9-11:15 a.m. Jan. 21.

Extra produce can be picked up 9-11:15 a.m. Wednesdays.

Donations may be dropped off 9-10:30 a.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays or during the times mentioned above.

Weekly bingo is held Mondays at Northampton Banquet and Event Center, 1601 Laubach Ave.

Doors open 5:30 p.m., and the games will begin 6:30 p.m.

Northampton Borough Fire Department is planning a designer purse bingo for Feb. 25 at the fire station, 4 Lerchenmiller Drive. Doors open 11 a.m.; bingo starts 12:30 p.m.

The cost of a ticket includes 20 games. Extra boards and bingo dabbers will be available at an additional cost. Tickets are available at the fire station.

The event is BYOB. Concessions will be sold.

A limited number will be sold at the door, and at a higher cost, on the day of the event.

Northampton Borough is accepting contributions for a memorial plaque that will be placed at the municipal pool. This plaque will feature names of former pool employees who have died.

All contributions and names can be submitted to the borough office, 1401 Laubach Ave.
