Marion L. Miller, 92, of Laurys Station, died Jan. 12, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Franklin H. Miller.

Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Clinton J. and Dorothy E. (Shupp) Hawk.

She was a seamstress for the former Iron Head Fashions Company, Ironton, for more than 23 years.

She was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Northampton.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Rose Croix Chapter, North Catasauqua. She was secretary of the International Ladies’ Garment Workers’ Union for several years.

She is survived by two sons, Shawn F. and wife Mary Lou and Chris J. and wife Linda, all of Northampton; two grandsons, William and Hunter; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, Brian R.; two sisters, Margaret Williams and Helen Schwartz; and four brothers, Carl Hawk, Edward Hawk Sr., Kenneth Williams and Harold Williams.
