Harold N. Bitner Jr., 76, of Zionsville, died Jan. 10, 2023, in Phoebe Home. He was the husband of Beverly E. (Simcox) Bitner. Born in Williamsport, he was the son of the late Corelli (Batten) and Harold N. Bitner Sr.

He honorably served his country in the Navy during Vietnam.

He worked for Mack Trucks for 17 years and later as a maintenance worker for Bloomer Chocolate for many years, retiring in 2016.

He is survived by his wife; son, Brian and his wife, Michelle, of Zionsville; granddaughter, Isabella; brother-in-law, Steven Simcox, of Lockhaven.

Services are private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus.
