Joyce Moore was elected chair of Upper Milford’s Board of Supervisors during the first meeting of 2023.

Moore’s new role was part of the reorganization meeting which took place Jan. 3, which saw a number of reappointments. Among them were: Bennet Kohler, member and Aurora Pattishall, alternate, to the zoning hearing board. Both of their terms expire Jan. 3, 2028.

John Hayes will continue to serve on the vacancy board for the annual term.

Anthony Koneski Jr. was reappointed to the planning commission with a term expiring Jan. 4, 2027, while Phil Hartranft Jr., received a reappointment with a term expiring Jan. 5, 2026.

Both Lisa Haus and Kyle Wagner were reappointed to the joint environmental advisory council with terms expiring Jan. 5, 2026.

The board of supervisors meeting schedule for 2023 was also confirmed. From February to December, meetings will take place 7 p.m. the first and third Thursday of each month.

The next meeting is scheduled Jan. 19.
