Hope Lutheran Church’s community cupboard is now open in the parking lot of the church, 4131 Lehigh Drive, Cherryville.

So many people are living with food insecurity these days, and many are not comfortable asking for assistance. The community cupboard will be kept stocked with nonperishable and shelf-stable food. People needing sustenance will be able to stop by and help themselves without having to check in with anyone.

This does not replace the congregation’s support of Northampton Area Food Bank but is an additional way to help its neighbors in need.
