Bath: Surf and turf block shoot set for Jan. 15

Petersville Rod and Gun Club, 550 Club Road, will be having a surf and turf block shoot Jan. 15. The doors open noon.

Bar trivia returns 7-9:30 p.m. Jan. 21. This event is open to the public, with prizes for the winning teams. 

The kitchen will be open 6-8:45 p.m. with food and drink specials during trivia night.

Keystone Rod and Gun Club, 243 Mulberry St., will be having a block shoot and meat raffle 1-5 p.m. Jan. 15.

Bring 12- or 20-gauge or use a club gun. Shells will be provided.

The kitchen will be open, and refreshments will be available. The event is family friendly.

The club also announces 2023 memberships and renewals are now available 6-8 p.m. Monday nights and during public events. New members must attend a monthly meeting to join.

Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, is excited to offer the first of a series of special concert events - “A Winter Organ Recital” - as part of its 300th anniversary celebration.

This event will be held 2 p.m. Jan. 22 in the upstairs sanctuary.

The featured musicians will include Mark Suter, organist at Rosemont Lutheran Church in Bethlehem; Christopher D. Ochs, supply organist at Emmaus Moravian Church; and Bobby Siegfried, Emmanuel’s music director.

You are invited to attend and enjoy an afternoon of classical organ music.

During the month of January, Emmanuel’s church will help Bath Area Food Bank by collecting boxed pasta. Personal care items such as shampoo, soap, toothpaste and deodorant will also be collected.

Monetary gifts are always welcomed.
