Sally A. Kohl, 82, formerly of Emmaus, died Dec. 22, 2022, at Fellowship Manor, Whitehall. She was the wife of the late Karl K. Kohl who died May 1, 2010 and Donald Walter who died May 20, 1980. Born in Topton, she was the daughter of the late Raymond G. Hieter and the late Geneva (Yeahl) Hieter Kimmel.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church Emmaus.

She was the owner and operator of the former Sally’s Beauty Salon in Emmaus for 40 years.

She was a member of the Soroptimist Club and the Emmaus Historical Society.

She is survived by a daughter, Stacey Rothermel (Todd); three stepdaughters, Donna Gerhart (Ron), Linda Ratarsky (Scott) and Robin Wieder (Steve); grandchildren; great-grandsons.
