Happy New Year 2023! Whether you are a “New Year, New Me” kind of person or just a “Keep on Truckin’” kind of person, I wish you nothing but the best in the New Year.

Jan. 9 will be the first PTO meeting at Salisbury Elementary School for the new year. It will begin 7 p.m.

The next operations meeting will be held 7 p.m. Jan. 11 in the administration building, 1140 Salisbury Road, Allentown. The finance meeting will begin immediately following the operations meeting.

The SES PTO is sponsoring a skate night 6 p.m. Jan. 12 at the Whitehall Skateaway, 3860 Lehigh St., Whitehall. Entry for SES families is free and skate rentals are $3. If you are a PTO member, your child’s skate rental is free. It’s also not too late to register for the PTO.

Jan. 13 is the first SES T-shirt day of 2023.

All Salisbury students will dismiss early Jan. 13 as well. Salisbury High School and Salisbury Middle School will dismiss 12:15 p.m. while SES will dismiss 1:15 p.m. If there are changes to dismissal for any SES students, please remember to let the office know.
