Egypt/Cementon: Senior nutrition event planned

The Whitehall Lions Club has been busy making spirits bright this holiday season by giving back to three Whitehall-Coplay School District families and residents of Fellowship Community.

The club will continue its community outreach 1-3 p.m. Jan. 10 by sponsoring a senior nutrition event at Whitehall Active Community Center, 2301 Pine St. The event will feature speakers from Allentown Health Bureau, Meals on Wheels of the Greater Lehigh Valley and Whitehall Food Pantry.

Support Whitehall Lions service projects through two ongoing fundraisers.

To shop the club’s RADA Cutlery fundraiser, go to radafundraising.com. In the pop-up box, enter Whitehall Lions Club/Whitehall/PA/18052.

The Dan Schantz Greenhouse Monthly Madness flower of the month fundraiser is continuing. Punch cards are available for purchase and will allow you to receive an item each month from Dan Schantz for an entire year. The cards have no expiration date.
