Robbie Lawrence and the Steelworkers Polka Band is coming to Catasauqua American Legion Post 215, 330 Second St., Jan. 14, Feb. 11 and March 25. The event is scheduled for 3-6 p.m.

Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, Fourth and Pine streets, is once again holding its free soup initiative 4:30-6 p.m. Wednesdays. This is open to the church family, as well as the entire Catasauqua community.

Catasauqua Community Thrift Shop, 113 Bridge St., reopened for 2023 and is happy to accept donations of good, used, clean clothing during store hours, which are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Proceeds from the thrift shop are returned to the community through contributions that support youth and adult programs and services.
