Anthony M. Gillette, 72, of Northampton, died Dec. 23, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
Born in Catasauqua, he was a son of the late John C. Sr. and Mary A. (Cherowich) Gillette.
He was a 1968 graduate of Catasauqua High School.
He was in the U.S. Air Force in the United Kingdom during the Vietnam War, earning the rank of SGT E-4.
He worked for the U.S. Postal Service, Allentown, until he retired.
He is survived by a daughter, Sian M. and her husband Michael Fisher of McLean, Va.; a son, Phillip J. and wife Sara Gillette of Blakeslee; three grandchildren, Cora, Lily and Phillip R.; four sisters, Elizabeth Arey of Catasauqua, Angela and her husband Oliver Resh and Margaret Rawson, all of Whitehall, and Therese Gillette of Northampton; four brothers, Joseph of Catasauqua, Paul of Bethlehem, Peter and wife Estella of Houston, Texas, and Timothy and wife LaFerne of Acworth, Ga.; nieces; and nephews.
He was predeceased by two sisters, Agnes Berg and Maryann Sterner; three brothers, John C. Jr., Edward and Christopher; a niece, Patty Arey; and a nephew, Terry Gillette.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.
