The Crazy Quilters Quilt Guild meets 6:30 p.m. at Faith Presbyterian Church, 3002 N. Second St., Emmaus. The meeting will feature the guild’s annual Quilt Challenge, a friendly competition among guild members who present quilts and quilted projects featuring a chosen theme. This year’s theme, “It’s Only Natural,” will be a display of quilts depicting something in nature. Visitors are welcome.

Grace Lutheran Church, 28 W. Main St., Macungie, will hold a free food distribution every Wednesday in January 2-4 p.m. Also Jan. 11, 18 and 25. Signs will be posted to direct you where to park and which door to use to pick up your food.

Jan. 13

Grace Lutheran Church, 28 W. Main St., Macungie, will hold its monthly drive-up/take-out free community meal 4-5:30 p.m. Menu will consist of Southern Beef and Bean Casserole with shredded cheese and corn bread on top, apple salad and brownies for dessert.
