Philip M. Zosky Sr., 80, of Orefield, died on Dec. 17, 2022, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
He was the husband of Deborah A. “Debi” (Schutt) Zosky.
Born Jan. 15, 1942, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Simon and Florence (Schnabel) Zosky.
He faithfully and honorably served his county in the U.S. Navy and in the Air Force during the Vietnam War era.
An automotive enthusiast and master mechanic, he belonged to the Sports Car Club of America and raced his Corvettes across the country.
Even more enthusiastic than his love of cars was his devotion to his family and pets.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by children Philip Michael Zosky Jr. (Jennifer) of Emmaus, Jessica B. DiJulio (Anthony M.) of Emmaus, Joshua E. Zosky (Molly) of Lincoln, Neb.; brothers Peter Zosky of Emmaus, David Zosky of Schnecksville; and grandchildren, Maddie, Anthony, Aubrey, Maura, Enzo.
His memorial service will be 1:30 p.m. Jan. 7, 2023, in Jordan United Church of Christ, 1837 Church Road, South Whitehall, with the Rev. Dr. David Charles Smith officiating.
Family and friends may pay their respects 12:30-1:30 p.m. Saturday before the service.
Following the service, interment will take place at the Jordan Memorial Garden with military honors.
