Gerald R. Miller, 75, of New Tripoli, died Dec. 19, 2022, at home.

He was the widower of Renee (Folck) Miller.

Born in Macungie, he was a son of the late Robert and Helen (Minner) Miller.

A self-employed contractor, he owned Quality Custom Homes, for more than 35 years.

He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

An active member of Ziegels Lutheran Church, Breinigsville, he served on church council and volunteered on several mission trips over the years.

He loved spending time outdoors and farming with his family.

He also enjoyed traveling with his loved ones and friends.

His survivors include a daughter Kelly S. Lucarelli and partner, Kevin Miller, of New Tripoli; son, Matthew D. Miller and wife, Amy, of Sparta, N.J.; brother, Clyde Miller and wife, Patricia, of Mertztown; brother-in-law John “Jack” Folck and wife, Linda, of New Tripoli; sister-in-law Lorraine Miller of Allentown; and grandchildren Angelina, Matthew, Nathan, Evan, Lea and Shelby.
