During parent-teacher conference days, Zephyr Elementary School repeated day 2 (morning and afternoon), which put school days one day behind the other elementary schools.

To stay consistent with the other schools, Zephyr Elementary will correct this by returning from winter break, Jan. 3, 2023, on the same day in the cycle as the other buildings - day 3.

Reminder: Whitehall-Coplay School District will be closed through Jan. 2, 2023, for winter break.

There will be no school Jan. 16, 2023, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr Day.

The second marking period ends Jan. 20, 2023.

Report cards will be sent through SwiftK12 10 a.m. Jan. 27, 2023.

A note on early dismissals, delays and closings:

For early dismissals, times will vary. Afternoon Lehigh Career and Technical Institute will be canceled.

For two-hour delays, bus pickups and school start times will occur two hours later than regular. Morning LCTI students in need of transportation should plan on taking district transportation to school and report to the auditorium until their afternoon classes begin. Students who have their own transportation should arrive at school no later than 11:35 a.m. for their afternoon classes.

If schools and buildings are closed, there will be no instruction. Students are not expected to complete work.

The school day may need to be made up; however, if a flexible instruction day is assigned, work is expected to be completed. A flexible instructional day will be scheduled, at the latest, the evening before the day.
