Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, needs volunteers to help welcome members and guests and to make services run smoothly. 

Sign-up sheets are out for those who would like to volunteer to help at worship services in 2023. People are needed for altar care, to usher, read, be communion assistants and media at the 8:45 a.m. traditional service; and altar care, ushers, prayer readers and communion assistants for the 10 a.m. celebration service.

Training and guidance will be provided for all positions.

Emmanuel’s church still offers yoga 5:30 p.m. every Monday with a certified yoga instructor. Come on out to get in shape and share some camaraderie as you start the new year.

Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Company, 2718 Mountain View Drive, has bingo 7 p.m. every Tuesday. Doors open 5 p.m.

There is a progressive jackpot every week, as well as a junior jackpot.

The kitchen is open with weekly menu features. No outside food is permitted.
