Alliance Fire Company Social Club presented a charitable $5,000 donation to Northampton Borough Fire Department Dec. 19.
“Our whole mission here at the fire company is to give back to the community, and we are very pleased that we can give you a $5,000 check today,” Alliance Fire Company Vice President Todd Csencsits said.
Northampton Borough Fire Department Chief Keith Knoblach graciously accepted the donation on behalf of the fire department.
Alliance Fire Company is committed to solicitously contributing to numerous organizations in Northampton Borough. Last month, Alliance Fire Company donated $2,000 to Northampton Regional EMS; $2,000 to Northampton Borough Police Department; and $2,000 to Northampton Borough Council for the pickleball courts at Alliance Park behind the fire house.
“Part of our core mission is to give back to the community. It’s because of our members and their families and friends that we can continue to share with our community,” Csencsits said.
Csencsits thanked everyone for coming to help honor Northampton Fire Department. In attendance were Northampton Borough Council members Ronald Glassic and Judy Haldeman, borough Solicitor Brian Panella, borough Manager LeRoy E. Brobst and Mayor Anthony Pristash.
They all wished to show their support and gratitude to both Alliance Fire Company and the borough fire department.
Alliance Fire Company also announced a pork and sauerkraut dinner is planned for February 2023. In March, the social club will be having a chef from a local university serving up top-notch food 3-10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
“Thank you for supporting member events all year long, especially our annual Oktoberfest and annual David ‘Dano’ Liskanich Memorial Golf Tournament. Proceeds from these events are what really allow us to keep giving back to the community,” Csencsits said.
With the spirit of giving, Alliance Fire Company surely knows the meaning of Christmas. Its thoughtful, charitable donations have sincerely made a difference for numerous entities within the borough.
In fact, this year, jolly old St. Nick even came to Alliance Fire House to spread holiday cheer with members and provide presents to their little ones. It truly is the most wonderful time of the year, thanks in part to Alliance Fire Company and everything its members do for the community.
“We are thankful that we are able to give back, and we hope to continue giving what we can in 2023,” Csencsits said.
