Whitney M. Roe, 71, of Whitehall, died Dec. 18, 2022, surrounded by his family in his home.

He and his wife, Rebecca A. Roe, were married 23 years.

Born March 12, 1951, in Manhattan, New York City, N.Y., he was the son of the late Richard H. and Willa Norma (Whitney) Roe.

A pharmacist for 46 years at St. Luke’s, he had an eye of compassion for all the patients he served.

An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed riding his Can-Am Spyder with his wife, Rebecca, and running and biking on the IRT.

He will forever be remembered as a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by a daughter Susan Ryan (Kevin) of Colorado; son Daniel Roe (Krista) of Lititz; stepdaughters Pamela Worman of Kunkletown, and Kristie Frantz (John) of Allentown; brother Richard Roe (Patty); sisters Penny Panettiere (Vinny), and June Adair; and grandchildren Alexis, Savanna, Jacob, Ethan, Emma, Daniel Lee, Sarah and Asa.
