The Sanctuary at Haafsville, 901 Nestle Way, Breinigsville, has the following dog available for adoption.
Mishka is a special pup in so many ways and she deserves an equally special home. She is so full of personality and spunk that she will keep you laughing and on your toes every day! Besides someone that can keep up with her playfulness, Mishka will need a family that is patient as she is completely deaf and blind in one eye. The Sanctuary would love a family that has experience with deaf or visually impaired dogs, but they are open to a family that is patient and willing to work with her. She definitely needs another tolerant dog in the home to help her learn how to be a dog, as she is so much happier with a furry friend. A fenced-in yard would be ideal so that she could play safely with her new sibling(s). No small children for this cutie as she plays too rough and will accidentally knock them over. If you think you could be Mishka's perfect match, email your application to dogadoptions@thesanctuarypa.org.
Harley originally came to the Sanctuary as a local stray and, unfortunately, no one came forward to claim him. When he first came to the shelter, he was not easily handled. With the time and patience of our volunteers, he has become the biggest love bug ever and a volunteer favorite. Harley truly is a big baby at heart, but he is not the right dog for a first time owner. He needs a family that will teach him to be confident because, despite his tough pittie exterior, he's a big scaredy-cat. Harley also needs a home with a family who is home a lot, as he has separation anxiety. This handsome guy is about 2 years old. No cats for this dude, and if there are other dogs in the home a meet-and-greet will need to be arranged. No children preferred. Come visit Harley on Saturdays between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Sanctuary.
