Maxine H. Benedick, 75, of Kempton, died Dec. 16, 2022, in Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the wife of Ronald W. Benedick, with whom she shared 51 years of marriage. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late John and Elsie (Wilfinger) Yarema.
She worked as a nurse’s aide for Lehigh Valley Hospice for 16 years.
She was a member of Emmaus Moravian Church and a board member of the 1803 House, Emmaus.
She touched the lives of so many people. She will truly be missed and will never, ever, be forgotten.
She was an avid gardener and enjoyed working in her outdoor flower beds. Above all, she loved her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband; sons, Jason, Jacob and Joshua and his wife, Lacey Christman; daughter, Sarah and her husband, Greg Tumblin; grandchildren, Robbie, Dylan, Lilly and Mason; brother, John Yarema and wife, Susan.

A celebration of her life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements were made by the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus.
