There is an 11 a.m. dismissal scheduled for Dec. 22.

Schools will be closed for winter break Dec. 23-Jan. 2, 2023. Classes will resume Jan. 3, 2023.

The Catasauqua Middle School band and winter chorus concert was rescheduled and will now be 7 p.m. Jan. 5, 2023, in the CMS auditorium.

CMS students are holding a Socks for Soldiers drive. One of the most requested items from soldiers and the homeless are socks, so CMS is collecting new, warm pairs of socks, which will be donated to local homeless shelters, veterans associations and the Catasauqua Community Cares Program.

They are also collecting toiletry items, such as toothpaste and toothbrushes, dental floss, soap, body wash, deodorant, tissues, etc.

Donations will be accepted in homeroom until Christmas.

If you find yourself traveling this holiday season out of Lehigh Valley International Airport, keep an eye out for the CMS decorated tree as part of the airport’s Festival of Trees.
