Carl V. Simcoe, 79, of Pine Grove and formerly of Northampton, died Dec. 15, 2022. He was the husband of Elaine (Smicker) for 58 years.

Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Joseph F. and Helen (Onuschak) Simcoe.

During high school, he played football for Northampton High School.

He was the owner and operator of Hillside Econo Beverage beer distributor, Northampton, for 27 years. He hauled mail for a mail contractor for 20 years.

He was a member of Queenship of Mary Church, Northampton.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Christina Joyce and husband Tim, Stephanie Tackack and husband Scott, Carla Simcoe-Frye and Jennifer Krawchuk and husband Andrew; eight grandchildren, Jacob, Thomas, Anya, Alexander, Evan, Samuel, Nicholas and Daniel; a sister, Cynthia Nissen; nieces; and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, Gerald Simcoe; and three sisters, Eleanor Klinger, Gertrude Heinick and Ethel Mae Lilly.

Services are private.
