The East Penn Board of School Directors conducted its annual organizational meeting Dec. 5.
Dr. Joshua A. Levinson and Jeffrey Jankowski were quickly returned to their previously held posts of president and vice president, respectively. Voting was unanimous.
Board Secretary Janine Allen presided over the meeting until Levinson was elected president pro tempore to briefly oversee the election of officers.
The directors approved the meeting schedule for 2023 as follows: Jan. 9 and 23, Feb. 13 and 27, March 13 and 27, April 24, May 8 and 22, June 12 and 26, July 10, Aug. 14 and 28, Sept. 11, Oct. 9 and 23, Nov. 13, Dec. 4 (reorganization) and 11.
The board also voted to designate East Penn Press as one of three media outlets for advertising purposes during the 2023 calendar year.
There were no requests to address the board and no executive session held before the public forum.
The next regular school board meeting is scheduled Dec. 12. The public can access documents through BoardDocs via a link on the district website. Livestreaming of meetings is available on the district’s YouTube channel.
