Jordan United Church of Christ, 1837 Church Road, South Whitehall, will be holding its annual Wreaths Across America ceremony at noon Dec. 17.

This program is to honor the service of the veterans who are interred on the church’s sacred grounds adjacent to the church.

The theme for 2022 is “Find a Way to Serve.”

A patriotic ceremony of remembrance will begin in the church sanctuary, featuring a historic narrative about the Rev. Abraham Blumer and Lorentz Guth, the founders of Jordan UCC and members of the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War.

This ceremony of remembrance will be followed by the laying of a fresh balsam wreath on each grave.

Members of the Parkland High School Band will honor veterans with special music.
