Jerome M. Orban, 79, of Lehigh Township, died Dec. 3, 2022, in his home. He was the husband of Kathryn “Katy” (Fitzmaurice) for 54 years.

Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late John and Stella (Klepeiss) Orban.

He was a crane operator for Bethlehem Steel for more than 30 years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Christine Flores and husband David and Alayne Ruda; a son, Jerome P.; four granddaughters, Nora, Lauren, Sarah and Kathryn; two brothers, John and wife Jane and Richard; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be a calling time 9:30-11:30 a.m., followed by a celebration of life 11:30 a.m., Dec. 8 at the funeral home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton.
