Glenn R. George, 74, of Neffs, died Dec. 1, 2022, in Lehigh Valley Hospice Inpatient Unit, Allentown. He was the husband of Joanne M. (Scharl) George for 55 years.

Born in Northampton, he was the son of the late Edwin J. Jr. and Salome B. (Kern) George.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War era.

An assembler at Air Products and Chemicals Inc. for 45 years. He retired in 2011.

He was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Earl P. George and his wife Jeanine Villano-George of Walnutport; a grandson, Anthony T. George; a sister, Sandra Rex of Slatington; a niece; and two nephews.

There will be a calling time noon-1 p.m., followed by a service 1 p.m., both Dec. 8 at the funeral home, 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville.
