South Whitehall Township sponsored a “Get Prep’d Parkland,” Sept. 10 at Springhouse West Park.

The program is designed to educate residents of the need to be prepared for natural or man-made disasters.

These include storms, floods, fire or a civil event calling for residents to stay safe by sheltering in place or evacuating their residents.

South Whitehall fire, EMS, police and township personnel were on hand to offer advice and information regarding these possibilities.
